However, the pregnancy can take an emotional and physical toll on you and your family. It is very important that you stay happy and healthy during the pregnancy. Maintain Same Activity Level

There are mothers that run a few miles a day all the way up to their delivery and that is fantastic. There are also mothers that stay active simply by walking, and this is great. The point is that these mothers maintain their same activity levels as they were used to before being pregnant. If you are a runner it is a great idea to continue running as long as your doctor allows. The caveat is to be sure that you are running to stay happy and healthy and not running with your weight in mind. 

Date Night

It seems that date night is hard to come by in normal situations, but make sure to spend quality time with your spouse. Being pregnant is really a family affair, and it will affect the entire family no matter what the size. The mother's emotions and husband's emotions can certainly wear thin, and date night is a great time to spend quality time with one another. Stay sweet with one another, and remind each other just how special the other is in your life. Having the opportunity to go on a date, or simply spending time with one another allows good emotions to flourish within a relationship.

"Me Time" Is Important 

One of the most important things that you can do while pregnant is to spoil yourself just a little bit. Plan time that you can spoil yourself, or some "me time." You are expending a lot of time and energy ensuring that the little one inside of you is growing properly. You need to be sure you go to the spa, or spend a day curled up reading a book. This is going to be good for both you and your family. You deserve to be treated like a queen, and your family will appreciate that you are even more happy than usual.
